The National College of Nursing, Japan was founded by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. The College offers graduate education in policy-based nursing. Policy-based nursing is an exploratory academic area that requires systematic and scientific research in nursing in order to meet the demands of policy-based medical services. This program focuses on combating the diseases that the government must control, and in strengthening international health care cooperation.
