Characteristics of the College

Principles behind the Curriculum

Our students, after graduating the college, are expected to serve as nurses and midwives at the National Medical Research Centers that provide policy-based medical care and advanced medical care.

Our curriculum consists of five pillars: Human Science, Environment, Interaction, Human Development and Nursing Science. Students need to understand Humans as a dynamic of Growing and Developing whilst maintaining complex Interactions in various Environments.

Students study courses that are necessary to acquire the competencies for maturity development, health promotion, appropriate for disease treatment, recuperation and peaceful end-of-life care.

As the curriculum proceeds, students integrate a broad-based understanding of humans with specialized nursing knowledge and develop comprehensive and practical competencies and skills in nursing through practicum at clinical sites and through overseas experiences.

Students study courses related to human science, the environment and people, and interactive communication, enabling them to gain both specialized nursing knowledge and competencies, and an understanding of human beings.
